  1. 1Data kept

    • Your access token as a hash, plus its last 4 characters
    • The sign-up IP address as a hash, used only to count accounts per IP
    • Balance, top-up amounts with their status and dates
    • Numbers bought, SMS received and order dates
    • Your login session as a hash, with its expiry time

  2. 2Reasons

    • Signing you in and checking the account
    • Adding top-ups and keeping balance
    • Ordering numbers and listing their SMS
    • Limiting accounts per IP address

  3. 3Cookies

    SMSGlobals sets two cookies: sg_sid for the login session (30 days) and sg_lang for the language. Neither is used for advertising or tracking.

  4. 4Retention

    Account data stays while the account exists. Sessions end after 30 days.

  5. 5Disclosure

    Data is disclosed only when the law demands it, and no more than demanded.

  6. 6Protection

    Tokens and sessions exist only as hashes, and every page is served over HTTPS.
