Where does the SMS go when an app sends it?
To a carrier number we hold. SMSGlobals reads it and lists it under that number in your account, so no SIM card or handset is involved.
Is the price charged when the code never shows up?
It is returned. A single-use number keeps its 20-minute window open; when the window closes without a code, the amount goes straight back to your balance.
How many apps are in the search?
104 apps, from WhatsApp, Telegram and Google to KakaoTalk, Instagram and TikTok. Anything missing works through Other apps.
Can the number make calls or send texts?
No. SMSGlobals numbers only take incoming SMS.
Will the same number work for a later login?
A single-use number takes one code. Rent a long-term number for 1, 7 or 30 days if the app will ask again.
Money
Why do prices differ by country?
Each app and country pair has its own fixed price per number. Search an app on the home page to compare its countries side by side.
How much do I need to add?
Balance starts at $20. Adding $40 or more brings a bonus between 10% and 50%, depending on the amount.
Can unused balance be paid out?
No payouts. Balance is spent on numbers, and every refund from unused or cancelled orders lands back in it.
Token account
How does a token account work?
Your account is the access token from the join page. Only a hash is stored, so the token cannot be shown again. Save it as a .txt file.
What if the token is lost?
It cannot be restored, because the server only keeps a hash. The file saved at joining is the only copy.
Is there a limit on accounts?
Three accounts per IP address.

What is SMSGlobals meant for?
Lawful verification: keeping your personal number private, testing apps, running work profiles. Account takeover, fraud and spam are refused.
